We had to imagine if we where either J.J. Thompson or Ernest Rutherford. We had to write a grand proposal form in order to get funding for the experiment we wanted to do. Each student had to create a grand proposal. This was really complicated because we had to do a lot of research on how to do a grant proposal and on the experiment. I chose Ernest Rutherford and as you may or may not know Rutherford discovered that the atom was mostly empty space. So i had to do a lot of research and i had to have a clear understanding about the experiment and the proses but luckily i was very successful.
