Nutrition Project Bio Part

Goal:

For this "mini" project we had the option to either choose a partner or work individually on a recipe that we had to choose. My partner was Luis Lopez and the recipe that we choose were "Chicken McNuggets". We had to first look for an unhealthy recipe that kids like to eat. Then the next step was to modify it in order to make it healthier but that wasn't it we had to check the nutrition facts and compare them. Write a reflection in why did we choose those "healthy" ingredients. 

Reflection: 

What I learned about biology during this project was that just because the food is healthier it does not mean that it is not going to taste good. And by adding or substituting some ingredients by healthier ones it gives the food a better nutritional value. Sometimes when you substitute something you think it is going to make it healthier but for example the sodium can go down but the sugar may go up. So you really need to check the nutrition facts to see if you are getting enough of the essential macro molecules your body needs.

What i learned about myself is that actually I am good at managing my time wisely and that is something that i have improved on over the course of my years at HTHCV , this time I finished the project two days before, we were the first ones to finish. 

I need to work on NOT stressing because i get frustrated really easily and that is something i need to improve on, i've gotten better but i still need to work on it.
