MODERN REVOLUTION CALL FOR A CHANGE! Humanities-Fall/Winter 2010 Katie Lavoie General Project Description: This project involves researching in depth, engaging in discussion and formally presenting an issue that exists in the modern world (locally, nationally or globally) my theme was recycling. In a group of five we are going to explore an issue that we feel is an important one in todays world. This issue is also one which we feel needs more attention, awareness, and media coverage in the larger world. In other words, we are supposed to think deeply about the subject and researching the issue we thought required an urgent and immediate call for "revolutionary" change. There were three major products for this project: the research paper ( which was the individual one) and had to include all the information and persuasion about your topic, the "special Report" newscast ( the group one)which we had to create some kind of presentation in a newscast form and the informational piece (group). These "special Reports" are going to be presented to a larger audience when we finish the project. |

Description of my vision for my teams newscast: What we are planning to do is some interviews to random people asking for their opinion of recycling and if they know what it is. Then we are going to make a video in which my team and I are going to appear were we are sitting in a living room and we are going to make a discussion about the subject, then we are going to put the interviews and at the end each one of us is going to explain the benefits. |
