Gross Out Project

In this project we were put in a position were we had to conduct our own experiment. Luis Lopez, Carlos Sanchez, Ivan Martinez and I, decided that in our experiment we were going to figure out how much microorganisms can baby wipes clean. We split into roles, so that we could have a more organized product. The first roles we assigned were Luis Lopez the Lead design, Ivan Martinez Digital. This project was really interesting and cool because we had the opportunity to recognize some microorganisms and what they can cause. Each team could choose what they wanted to investigate we chose to identify which germs/bacteria/viruses are on hands after and before playing on a playground and how much of those microorganism remain after being cleaned by common baby wipes.

My role in the project was to be the recorder, basically I had to keep track of all notes and all materials needed so that we could be organized. That was for the first part of the experiment, and for the second part I was the Digital Message Lead Design I had to do the digital message so I created a power point presentation (you can find it below) and Carlos helped me do the ppp. Through this project I learned many things I knew most of them because since I can remember I have always been interested in science and life probably that is why I want to be a Doctor. I really enjoy this class especially since I was able to work with microorganisms. I think I grew as a leader because I was in a position were all my teammates were boys and they were friends, they got distracted really easily but of course they helped me a lot but i feel like I was being a leader I was the one telling them what to do and when to do it. I also learned how to be a better teammate because I learned to help, I was constantly helping my teammates. I would like to improve on my patience because I stress out easily although I have improved over these two years I've been at high tech high.
