In this project we did a boat:
- We created a prototype made out of straws and and plastic.
- We had to pass the test which Mr. Phil putted some pennies in the boat.
- When we passed the test we had to fill a survey in order to have the exact materials that we needed(PVC,T connectors, Cross connectors, Three side connectors etc...)
- We had to measure all parts and cut them and then put them all together.
- When we had them together we had to glue them with a special PVC glue which smelled so bad we had to use a mask so that the smell of the glue could not kill our brain cells.
- We had to cover it with a black tarp and melt the tarp with a dryer so it can stay together.
- When we where done we whee supposed to race them but thanks to the climate we couldn't so the competition was moved to march.
This was a great project because we included the habits of heart and mind one of the habits that we used practiced the most was cooperation because since it was a team work everyone had to put a certain amount of effort and time because the project took a lot of time.
